The final article in this series focuses on Path 10: Faith – Believing in your vision.
Believing in your vision is the best thing one can do. Devoting energy and time to a goal or vision activates faith in your life. Those who are wise know that faith is the power that also fuels any vision. Visions are by-products of unique machinery that has capabilities of adapting and manipulating its environment at will. An exemplary prototype of that machinery is you. Like any other machinery, you require a specific type of fuel to operate. Fueling your visions is no different your faith in your vision is that energy which fuels your actions, attitudes, and behaviors driving you to take positive action.
Another way of defining faith is an obedient strategy that brings about an elusive power to manifest the inevitable. In old school terms, faith is the evidence of things unseen but hoped for without proof. Unseen is the operative word in that analogy. Don’t bother focusing on “what ifs” in this analogy. This is just an exercise. Try focusing on, “What if I don’t?”
All you have to remember is an analogy only defies logic for those who don’t want to put in the work. Many people have used that faith analogy achieving remarkable results in their lives. Today we call them Alexander Graham Bell, Bill Gates, Oprah, Steve Jobs, the Wright brothers and Mark Zuckerberg. Yesterday we called them mavericks. The only difference between you and them is their decision to commit to their vision until they saw it come to fruition. That is the process of using your faith. Never question a valid opportunity to advance your vision. You have enough people second guessing your visions for your life. Don’t sabotage yourself by joining their party. Give yourself a break. If you don’t invest the energy, time, and resources in your vision for your life, who will?
Use your faith like you have tunnel vision. This is a challenging process requiring sacrifices and hard work. You will have to do your homework. The final outcome will put a smile deep in your soul. Just don’t block out those practical voices in your life. You can’t neglect any obligations. Don’t complain. Don’t allow yourself to become distracted. And don’t give up. You, your vision, and the power in your life are in the majority. Visualize the victory. It is yours for the taking. Act, direct, beat or strum out a tune, paint, publish, sing, or write. Feed your vision constantly and hold onto to your vision with a tight grip. You subconscious allowed you to identify your vision. Put your personal power into it. Identify your resources. Use them properly. Then go to work. Obedience and faith work miracles. Your talents are your miracles. People like me are out here waiting to experience them.
