Entrepreneurs are a special breed. Each one of them are uniquely motivated. No one knows this better than the Start Up Quest Team. Recently program managers, Dolly Penland of Work Source Florida and Carlton Robinson of Jacksonville’s Chamber of Commerce worked with training facilitator Chip Vara and Suzi Lemen to prepare fifty-three program participants to embark up their journeys.
Northeast’s Start Up Quest Entrepreneur training program is funded by Department of Labor’s eleven million dollar grant allowing Work Source Florida to team up with Jacksonville’s Chamber of Commerce, The University of Florida Office of Technology Licensing (UFOTL), University of South Florida and other collaborators. Start Up Quest offers ten weeks of hands on training for Florida’s would be entrepreneurs.
The inaugural class members were as diverse as the technologies they pitched. Their most common factors were they are accomplished professionals seasoned in their respective fields. Recruiting Employers, these certified professionals are ready to step in to get the job done on your behalf.
